Calm in Storm was my first dip into the immersive world of Drupal. Due to some plugin restraints, that my friend Jonathan Wagener later straightened out for me, I was forced to work with Drupal 5.x. I mention this because I have fiddled with Drupal quite a bit before doing this project but my experience in theming was limited to Drupal 6.x, which has a much better theming structure if you ask me.

My design brief was for a simple clean site with easy access to the main functions of the site, shopping and talks. I played it safe in terms of design since I did not want to get too adventurous with a system that I am not very familiar with. There are also realistic time constraints when one spends design time to learn about the system youre designing for.

I enjoyed Drupal quite a bit and it has opened new doors with regards to what I can offer my clients. Im currently working on another Drupal project and will be using 6.x this time around.
