The Spring Tide ‘08 website was a collaboration with Stehan Botha from The Medium web design studio. Stehan is a one man army and I have done a couple of projects with him since the Spring Tide website.
I used Wordpress for this project and had a chance to flex some of my creative muscles since the project was quite design intensive and required a couple of tricks to be pulled out of my sleeve to get the various parts of the template to be editable by the client (with minimal knowledge of web systems off course, thats always the challenge)
Spring Tide had all the various bits to showcase the event properly and sell it to potential visitors, galleries, video’s and lots of corporate sponsorship. The main purpose of the site however was to allow visitors and potential participants to enter for various events and for those registrations to be sent to various administrators depending on the event. Cforms came to the rescue here and made the job quite simple!
